We are busy getting The Fashion Mobile ready for the big launch next month. As owner and buyer I have been searching for the right merchandise to live up to our tagline… Rolling in Style. One thing I love and I know I’m good at is SHOPPING! It’s one thing to shop for things for myself but when shopping for a boutique you have to be sure to find things that appeal to others.
It’s important to have a mix of styles and price points for your customers but you also have to maintain an overall style for your boutique. Many times I will purchase things I LOVE and know that I would buy but that sometimes gets me in trouble because I want to keep everything! (I have quite the collection of jewelry and purses from the last boutique I owned.) In addition to the items I’m in love with, I make sure I get a variety of products that should be popular with my customers.
